Dr. Kraushaar
Dr. Kraushaar is the newest addition to the Select Dental team! He graduated in May 2025, Magna Cum Laude, from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, earning his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree.
Boston University is known for its world class faculty, cutting-edge technology, and comprehensive curriculum in the field of dentistry. It was here that Dr. Kraushaar found his passion for General Dentistry, high-quality patient care, and implementation of new technologies for providing rapid, personalized, and minimally invasive care. He also served as an admissions Ambassador for applicants worldwide, and he continues to provide insight to the next generation of those pursuing the field of Dentistry. Additionally, he is a member of the American Dental Association.
Dr. Kraushaar grew up in the small town of Suffern, NY, where he was exposed to healthcare at a young age. He comes from a family of doctors, and as a result, patient care became second nature, and he was quickly drawn to the field of dentistry. Dr. Kraushaar prides himself in his innate ability to relate to patients of all ages, and he has extensive experience treating people from a wide variety of backgrounds. He is fluent in Spanish as a second language.
Dr. Kraushaar lives by the mantra “head, heart and hands”. When asked what this means, he will tell you: “my father raised me to be a doctor who embodies these three core values. I approach every problem with an open mind, and I always actively listen to the challenges, wishes and fears that my patients present. I have a big heart, and I truly care about every patient who walks through the door as if they were part of my own family. I use my hands, and the gifts that I have been given, to give back to society and I constantly seek to provide a pain-free and comfortable experience for each of my patients.”
Dr. Kraushaar recently relocated to Connecticut, with his wife, who grew up in West Hartford, Connecticut. They hope to deepen their roots in the community and become an indispensable asset for their neighbors, friends, and family.
